Rainbow Mountain with Red Valley full Day rainbow Mountain or vinicunca also called in Quechua is one of the attractions that cannot be missed in the Cusco- Peru. On this hike you will visit the beautiful 7 Color Mountain with its colorful slopes and be amazed by the stunning views of the surrounding snow-capped mountains. you will be accompanied by our native guide who speaks English,Spanish and Quechua.
This trek Rainbow mountain with red valley full day is designed for those travelers with little time in Cusco who want to be in contact with the magnificent nature of Peru. Our guide will explain what makes up the exciting existence of the Rainbow Mountain. There is also an option if feel tired or bad you can do it on horseback.
We will pick you up from your hotel at 4:00 am to be transported for 1:30 hours until we reach the town of Cusipata where we will have our delicious breakfast where we can also buy sodas, energy drinks, chocolates, cookies, etc. We will continue 1:20 minutes more by car until we reach the town of Chillihuani also the place where we will begin the walk, we will walk uphill for 1:40 hours, throughout the walk we will appreciate the Alpacas and llamas until we reach the summit of Vinincunca mountain better known as the rainbow mountain located at 5000 m.s.n.m. Once at the summit we will have a spectacular view, time to take photos. After visiting the rainbow mountain we head to the Red Valley for 15 to 20 minutes where we will also enjoy the landscape of the red valley. and then we will descend for 1:00 to the town of Chillihuani where we will take our car back to have lunch for 1:00 hour until we reach the town of Cusipata, lunch place again, where we will take the car that will transport us back to Cusco where we will be approximately at 4:00 pm.
